CDA Plans to make a Model Village in Islamabad

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority has decided to establish a model village within the capital.

The primary objective of this endeavor is to develop 4500 residential plots, with each plot having a dimension of 10 marlas. Furthermore, the model village will include three class 3 retail centers and one commercial center.

In addition to a health center and a prominent Jamia mosque, both are designated for development in this planned community. Officials from the CDA have affirmed that every property in this model village will be distributed to those whom the land acquisition for Park Enclave has negatively impacted.

In particular, those impacted by Mauza Kurri and Rihara will benefit from this resettlement initiative. It is worth noting that the endeavor has experienced several years of delays. Nevertheless, following a directive issued by the Islamabad High Court (IHC), the CDA has been tasked with commencing and completing the undertaking within two years.

This advancement can potentially resolve the enduring issues of individuals who have suffered a land loss due to prior CDA initiatives.

The dedication to finishing the model village within the designated timeframe signifies a deliberate and coordinated effort to accelerate the resolution of this issue.
