According to the report, in order to alleviate the growing traffic congestion, the CDA also intends to create an alternate road to the Bari Imam neighbohood. CDA Chairman Noorul Amin Mengal brought up the growing traffic congestion on Pir Sohawa Road as a major inconvenience for the Capital Territory Administration at a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, chaired by MNA Nuzhat Pathan.

CDA Chairman Mengal has announced that the authority is establishing a welcome and information centre at the park’s Pir Sohawa Road entrance as part of the PC-1 project. The municipal agency has also proposed an alternative route from Monal to Bari Imam in an effort to lessen the impact of traffic and vehicles on the environment. Research into the viability of dualizing the road and pinpointing the alternate route is currently underway.
