Chaklala Cantonment Board announces property tax reduction

The Chaklala Cantonment Board (CCB) in Rawalpindi has said that property owners who pay their taxes by September 30 will get a 15% discount. This was announced in a newspaper notice.

The tax cut will be given to all taxpayers who haven’t paid their property tax for the fiscal years 2022-23 yet. It won’t be given to people who still owe money from years before. The board also said that tax challans have been sent to residents at their designated locations, and anyone who hasn’t gotten theirs can get one from the CCB tax office. Until September 30, you can only pay your taxes at the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Chaklala Branch during business hours.

It’s also important to know that the FBR has set September 30 as the deadline for filing income tax returns for FY23. If you don’t turn it in, you’ll have to pay PKR 1,000 per day or face legal action.
