Gwadar Suicide Attack : China demands Pakistani Justice

China demands justice from Pakistan on Gwadar suicide attack. China insisted on Saturday that Islamabad conduct a comprehensive investigation into the suicide attack on a van transporting Chinese nationals in Gwadar, Baluchistan, and severely punish the culprits.

According to a statement from the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad, the Pakistani government has been asked to take practical actions to guarantee that such tragedies do not occur again.

“At the exact time, relevant departments at all levels in Pakistan must take practical and effective measures to speed up the implementation of strengthened whole-process security measures and upgraded security cooperation mechanisms to ensure that similar incidents do not occur again,” the statement read.

According to the statement, a convoy carrying Chinese nationals was attacked in Gwadar, killing three children and injuring several others, including a Chinese person.

According to an Interior Ministry statement, a four-vehicle convoy transporting Chinese nationals “with integrated security details of Pakistan army and police presence” was attacked on the East Bay Expressway. The attack took place near a fishermen’s community along the beachfront route, according to the statement.

The Chinese team noted Pakistani authorities’ fast response, saying that the Pakistani side quickly sent the wounded to a hospital in Gwadar for treatment after the event.

“The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan strongly condemns this act of terrorism, expresses its heartfelt condolences to the innocent victims in Pakistan, and extends its sincere sympathies to the injured of both countries,” it stated. Following the attack on the convoy, the embassy said it quickly implemented an emergency plan. The embassy requested that Pakistan treat the injured properly, conduct a comprehensive investigation, and punish the offenders severely.

On Saturday, police claimed they had filed a case at a CTD police station connected with the suicide attack against unnamed terrorists. The charges include murder, attempted murder, explosives, and terror clauses, according to them. The bombing killed three children and injured three more.

The loss of life saddens Bilawal Bhutto.
PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto condemned the attack on the Chinese people and expressed sadness over the loss of human life.

“The federal government should offer complete protection to Chinese nationals working on various projects around the country and answer the Chinese government’s worries about the safety and security of its residents in Pakistan,” said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
