In Sukkur, Bilawal grants land ownership rights to displaced individuals

In Sukkur, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, distributed land ownership rights to those affected by an anti-encroachment operation on Monday.

At a program held at the Jinnah Municipal Stadium in Sukkur, he stated that it was a joyous occasion because those who had been displaced and rendered destitute were receiving plots of land with ownership rights.

He said that the PPP was going to grant ownership right to 7,200 affected people. He stated that 250 members of minority communities were included among those who received properties.

“This is the party of Bhutto, who gave the people roti, kapra, and rice,” he said.

Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari, the former chief ministers Syed Murad Ali Shah and Syed Qaim Ali Shah, the mayor of Sukkur, Barrister Arsalan Shaikh, and other prominent personalities were also in attendance.

Mr. Bhutto-Zardari stated, in reference to the forthcoming elections, that no one could stop them. “If elections are not held today, they will be held tomorrow, and if not in 90 days, in 100 or 120 days,” he added.
