Punjab PDWP authorises projects totaling 17 billion PKR

News sources say that on Thursday, November 10, the Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved four development projects worth PKR 17 billion.

At the 26th meeting of the PDWP, the projects were approved. Planning and Development Board Chairman Abdullah Khan Sumbal was in charge of the meeting. The following projects were given orders to prepare Project Concept-1 (PC-1):

The feasibility study of “Smart City Lahore Phase-I” has been given PKR 70,101,000,000. (PC-II)
Mir Chakar Khan Rind University of Technology, Lahore has been given PKR 4.604 billion to start up.
Work begins on remodelling the underpass at CBD Boulevard and Kalma Chowk.

The Punjab Tianjin University of Technology in Lahore will get an extra PKR 5.697 billion to improve it.
ABAD has given PKR 825 million to develop farms in the Punjab Barani Tract as a whole.
