Islamabad: According to news reported on August 11th, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has declared the opening date for the Rawal Dam Flyover and 7th Avenue Interchange.

In a meeting presided over by CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed, it was decided to open the Rawal Dam Flyover and 7th Avenue Interchange on Independence Day (August 14). The flyover and roads for the Rawal Dam project would be finished in two days, according to the information provided. The project’s lights and lane marking are now in progress, it was announced to the attendees. The underpass will be finished in a month, according to a representative (whose identity was withheld). He said that after the flyover had been substantially finished, it will be officially opened.

Additionally, the CDA chairman went to the project locations and gave the officials instructions to guarantee that the projects were finished by August 14. According to the news announcement, the flyover’s asphalt has been finished, and work is being done to improve the neighbourhood. The artwork will be finished and the lanes will be marked in a few days. The barriers in New Jersey would be finished in the following three days, it was revealed. The last of the work will be finished in 20 to 30 days. The work on the 7th Avenue Interchange project is virtually finished, according to information shared about it.

It’s important to remember that the projects’ initial due date was in October. However, the projects are being finished earlier than expected thanks to orders from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
