A productive discussion between CDA officials and local landowners led by former MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan led to the decision, sources say. In Sector C-16, the CDA will issue BUPs first-come, first-served to eligible residents.
Award announcements are expected within two months. As per the agreement, people will not disrupt sector growth. The CDA will quickly survey and measure houses, assuring a smooth process.
In addition, the meeting announced that authority land acquisitionees will receive plots in exchange for their built properties in Sector C-16 or C-15. According to the agreement, the CDA will issue allotment letters for a 5-marla plot in a 300-square-foot area within four months.
