The Minister officially dedicates the underpass project

The Minister officially dedicates the underpass project. On Friday, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar launched the renovation and enhancement of the Golra Morr underpass on the major GT Road.

Umar stated on the occasion that beginning in January of next year, every person of Islamabad will receive the Sehat Insaaf Card, which will entitle them to medical treatment worth Rs1 million in a single year.

He stated that inflation was not a problem exclusive to Pakistan, but was a global issue. He added, however, that in order to alleviate the poor sector of society’s inflationary pressures, the government had developed a ration card via which individuals could obtain required daily-use commodities at reduced rates.

According to the minister, the ration card would be effective in 15 days.

Concerning opposition actions, he stated that the opposition had placed Maulana Fazlur Rehman in the driver’s seat but then abandoned him.

Umar stated that the opposition attempted to announce dates for lengthy marches repeatedly but was unable to do so. The underpass project is on priority.

Meanwhile, General Secretary Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) MNA Aamir Mehmood Kiani, who was also present at the occasion, stated that Islamabad was becoming a signal-free zone as a result of Umar’s personal efforts, since a number of road projects in various parts of the city were under construction. He stated that after this project is completed, traffic congestion will be significantly reduced.

Kiani stated that 700,000 retailer stores (kiryaa stores) would be registered under the government’s Rs120 billion ration card project. He stated that residents would be able to purchase daily-use essentials at a 30% discount from registered establishments. The Minister officially dedicates the underpass project.
