The Punjab PDWP approves 9th road infrastructure development initiatives

News sources said that on Tuesday, August 30, the Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) gave its approval to nine road infrastructure development projects worth PKR 9 billion.

During the 7th meeting of the PDWP, which took place here in Lahore and was led by Planning & Development Board Chairman Abdullah Khan Sumbal, the new development projects were approved. The board agreed to the following projects:

The road between Shujabad and Jalalpur Pirwala, which is 48 km long, will be fixed up with PKR 2.25 billion.
PKR The 26-kilometer-long road from Chishtian to Haroonabad will cost $1.287.5 billion to build and fix up.
The Vehari Mailsi Kahror Pacca Lodhran Road will be widened at a cost of PKR 996.8 million.
From Karor to Behal, which is 18 kilometers long, PKR 972 million has been set aside for road repair. From Choubara to Nawan Kot Road, which is 23 kilometers long, PKR 917.5 million has been set aside for road repair.

The road from Minchinabad to Dhak Pattan, which is 17 kilometers long, will be fixed up with PKR 875 million.
The Ludden Karam Pur Road in District Vehari will be fixed up with PKR 670 million. The Bahawalnagar to Arifwala Road, which is 17 kilometers long, will be fixed up with PKR 631.246 million.
