The official also said that the asphalt work on the slip road leading to the Serena Hotel was done. The slip road was an important part of the project, and now that it’s done, the project is back on track.

Other CDA sources said that in order to meet the deadline, the FWO was called in to do the remaining work. According to orders from the PM, the FWO will be working full time by May 15.

It’s important to note that the FWO is also working on the project for the Islamabad Highway. CDA wants to take care of the whole area between Rewat and Gulberg, so it gave the Gulberg to Railway Bridge project and the Korang Bridge to FWO..
