CDA developing a plan to handle infractions of rules in housing complexes

CDA is developing a plan to handle infractions of rules in housing complexes. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) decided on Wednesday (December 15th) to pursue legal action against the floor plan section where the infringement occurred in housing societies rather than cancelling the complete floor plan.

According to Amir Ali Ahmed | CDA Chairman, the municipal body would amend the regulations to protect civil rights and oversee housing scheme operators at the upcoming board meeting.

Additionally, he stated that action would be taken against the illegal portion of the arrangement, not the entire pattern. He stated that the agency will give personal guarantees instead of bank guarantees. Thus, the housing project’s owner remains liable even when the land is sold.

Additionally, CDA authorities claimed that several enterprises have sold out plots following approval of the floor plan. When the CDA cancelled the floor plan, land buyers faced the prospect of not obtaining power or repaying their loans. The corporation is required to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) in order to sell the land.
