Establishing precise timelines for ongoing projects: The LDA DG

A news source reported on August 3 that Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa directed relevant officials to establish clear timelines for ongoing projects in their respective departments to ensure timely completion of objectives.

The LDA DG stated that unjustified delays in project completion would not be tolerated. During the meeting, the DG requested that daily performance reports be submitted in order to closely monitor the progress of development initiatives. Shahmir Iqbal, Additional DG of Housing, provided a comprehensive briefing on Housing Wing matters, casting light on their progress and challenges.

In addition, the Director of Finance provided an exhaustive overview of the objectives and performance of all departments during the current fiscal year. Also discussed at the meeting were ongoing and proposed initiatives. Their insights provided useful updates on the status of these initiatives and allowed for well-informed decisions.
