On July 17, local media reported that the provincial administration of Punjab had decided to significantly alter the Kutchery Chowk Remodeling Project’s original scope.

In an effort to ease congestion, provincial authorities have chosen to enlarge the road in question. A senior official from the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) (who requested anonymity) indicated that the RDA has been instructed to develop a revised strategy for the Kutchery Chowk Remodelling project, which is estimated to cost PKR 6.4 billion.

In order to create a thorough plan for road expansion, the RDA has enlisted the help of NESPAK, a prominent technical consultant business. In the not-too-distant future, we’ll have a better idea of how much the whole project will set you back.
