MDA to take stringent action against illegal housing projects

Multan: According to information reported in the top publications on March 30, the city’s unlicensed housing project developers have received a warning from the Multan Development Authority (MDA). The warning said that unlawful housing developments will suffer serious repercussions.

According to the specifics, MDA Director General (DG) Dr. Zahid Akram presided over a meeting to assess the directors’ performance. He disclosed that officials had been told to file a police report (FIR) against the operators of illegal housing developments.

The authorities reportedly received a request to list any unapproved housing developments. The DG issued a zero-tolerance attitude against unauthorized housing developments and ordered the officers to seal and dismantle them.
