NHA Board refers Chakdara–Chitral Road PC-1 to CDWP

Islamabad: According to news stories from March 29, the Central Development Working Party (CDWP)/Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has received PC-1 from the National Highway Authority (NHA) Executive Board for the construction of Section III of the Chakdara-Chitral Road Project (N-45). The project is expected to cost PKR 10.95 billion, according to PC-1.

The board has instructed the NHA to award the National Logistics Cell (NLC) Engineers the contract for work on dualization and improvement of the 50-km-long N-50 from Yarik-Sagu-Zhob: Package -1 Yarik-Sagu as soon as possible, according to an official document. The Board further instructed the authority to take further action once revised PC-1 of the 210-kilometer Zhob Bypass was approved.

According to the news source, the executive board has accepted the NESPAK Addendum No. 1 and 2 for the consultant agreement for the dualization and enhancement of the Gandhi Chowk Sarai Naurang and Domail Khurram Sections of the Old Bannu Road Project.
