According to the information provided, the NHA has set prices for the installation of optical fibre and associated digital infrastructure along the RoW, working with a committee headed by the cabinet secretary and nominated by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SFIC) Executive Committee. In contrast to Pakistan Railways’ suggested tariff of PKR 240 per metre, the approved rate for laying OFC is set at PKR 30 per metre, which is in line with the fees assessed by the NHA.

The requirements for providing free NOCs to charitable and non-profit entities, including trusts, foundations, masajids/madaris, etc., have been specified in official papers. These organisations must submit pertinent documentation attesting to their charitable or non-profit status. Before a free NOC is issued, the Board has demanded that all technical prerequisites be completed.
