The FDA establishes a helpline to facilitate citizen access to information

According to news stories from April 02, the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has established a helpline, 1237, to make it easier for individuals to learn more about the procedures by calling.

Muhammad Asif Chaudhary, the FDA Director General, officially opened the aforementioned helpline. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chaudhary noted that the telephone facility is one of numerous measures being implemented to raise the standard of FDA services.
The helpline will aid citizens in obtaining the necessary information pertaining to the Town Planning and Estate Management departments, including the issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs), Town Planning Reports, Completion Certificates, Ownership Certificates, Residential and Commercial Building Plan Approval, Legal Status of Housing Schemes and their Approval Process, Transfer of Properties, Issues of Katchi Abadis, and other Authority Services.

According to Chaudhry, based on the feedback from the general people, this mechanism will be expanded in the future. He said that this information system was established to keep the agent mafia in check and to give citizens reliable information.
