The fourth LDA City election is scheduled for December

Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) announced on November 11 that the fourth ballot for assigning plot numbers will take place in December 2022. The announcement was printed in national newspapers. The authority has not yet said when it will happen, though.

According to the ad, PKR 1.5 billion has been sent to the national exchequer for land acquisition in the Jinnah Sector of LDA City, and the formalities for land acquisition are in full swing. People who own land and want to buy plots or files in LDA City are asked to offer their land for a housing project that will soon be on the latest ballot.

It was made clear that only those files will be on the ballot for which the authority has given an exemption letter. File owners who haven’t gotten their exemption letters yet are asked to get them from their development partners or landowners before the end of the month.

Also, the LDA has warned people who want to buy files from landowners that they should check entitlement letters before buying and make sure that the application for the issuance letter for exemption letters has been submitted to the LDA’s office according to the rules.
