The P3A has been updated to remove the Rawalpindi Ring Road plan

The Punjab government has decided to take the Rawalpindi Ring Road Project out of the public-private partnership authority (P3A).The decision was made in Chief Minister Usman Buzdar’s office on Thursday during the 8th meeting of the policy and monitoring board for public-private partnerships.

The committee would start the Rawalpindi Ring Road Project in PC-I mode with Punjab government money. At the conference, the Kharian-Dinga Road project was also withdrawn from the public-private partnership portfolio.

The CM ordered that the projects be finished on time and following all regulations. The participants ratified the choices made at the last meeting, and Quratul Ain Memon, a member of the public-private partnership cell, gave an update on development projects.

The meeting was attended by Sardar Asif Nakai, Provincial C&W Minister, Adviser Dr Salman Shah, the chief secretary, ACS (Home), secretary housing, chairman P&D, administrative secretaries, the authority’s CEO, and others.
