Islamabad: According to a news source on October 11, Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Minister Muhammad Sami Saeed instructed ministries and divisions to speed up CPEC projects in Gwadar.

According to the specifics, key individuals, including the Planning Ministry Secretary, Maritime Affairs Secretary, Chief Economist, Gwadar Port Authority Chairman, Gwadar Development Authority Director-General, and representatives from various ministries, attended a meeting held on Tuesday to evaluate project progress. The minister was informed by representatives on the state of each project related to Gwadar.

The Gwadar Power Plant, the Gwadar East-bay Motorway Project, the Gwadar Free Zone, the Gwadar Port, the New Gwadar International Airport Project, the Khuzdar-Panjgur Transmission line (via Nag-Basima), the distribution of 2,000 boat engines to local fishermen, the China-Pak Friendship Hospital, and the China-Pak Technical and Vocational Institute were among the significant initiatives that were discussed. Their significance in the area was stressed by the minister.
